COLORADO SPRINGS – CSPD now says a suspicious death near the Ivywild neighborhood is being investigated as a homicide.
Officers received a call about a man’s body found a little after 8:30 a.m. in Cheyenne Creek, near the intersection of S. Nevada Ave. and Cheyenne Blvd.
CSPD Lt. Howard Black said there was trauma to the man’s body, which prompted the investigation into the death.
Black said it is very early in the investigation, which is happening in the 1700 block of Mt. Washington Avenue.
