PUEBLO – A man is dead after he was struck by a train just east of the Walmart located at 4200 Dillon Drive in Pueblo.
When police arrived at around 3:00 p.m. Tuesday, the man was alive and trapped under the train. Rescue crews were able to free the man from under the train, but he died at a local hospital a short time later.
According to a train conductor, the male was laying across the train tracks as the train approached. The train was unable to stop and it struck the man.
The Pueblo Police haven’t identified the victim as of yet. be stopped, and it struck the male.
