PUEBLO – Saturday is Prescription Drug Take-Back Day in Pueblo! If you have any unused or dated prescription medicines sitting around the house, you can drop them off to be disposed of safely.
Too often, unused prescription drugs find their way into the wrong hands. That’s dangerous and often tragic. This way, you can turn in the drugs in safely and anonymously. Prescription Drug Take Back DayTake-Backs are a crucial public safety and public health issue. According to the 2016 National Survey on Drug Use and Health, 6.2 million Americans misused controlled prescription drugs. The study shows that a majority of abused prescription drugs were obtained from family and friends, often from the home medicine cabinet.
The nationwide results from last April’s National Take Back are fairly staggering.

You can easily dispose of your unused drugs between 10AM -2PM in the parking lot across the street from the Pueblo Municipal Justice Center.
