PUEBLO – A man is recovering from head and facial injuries Saturday morning after he was robbed and assaulted in Pueblo just after midnight.
Officers responded to 4th street and N. La Crosse Avenue and found an injured man who told police that he’d been attacked by two people who struck him with a broken baseball bat and took his wallet. The man was taken to Parkview Hospital.
A clear description of the suspects and the name of the victim have not been released at this time.
Just after midnight, Officers Adam Quintana & Ashley Robinson responded to the 1300 blk. E. 4th on report of an armed robbery. A male claims to have been attacked by 2 assailants, who struck him with a "broken bat" and took his wallet. He sustained head & facial injuries.
