PUEBLO – No one is injured and a Pueblo Police cruiser is a little worse for the wear after it was rear-ended early Saturday morning near Santa Fe and Locust.
Police officers were out of their vehicle investigating another car that had crashed and been abandoned in the area. They had their overhead lights on and they were blocking the roadway for traffic control purposes when another car hit the back end of the police car.
The driver of the car was arrested for driving under the influence and a passenger in the car was arrested on an outstanding warrant.
No names were released by police.
