PUEBLO – The Pueblo Economic Development Corporation (PEDCO) announced 125 new full-time jobs at an annual salary of at least nearly $40,000 coming to Pueblo.

Key Structures LLC a wholly owned subsidiary of The Challenger Group Inc announced it will manufacture pre-assembled building components off-site in Pueblo. Challenger Homes was ranked the 116th largest homebuilder in the nation by Professional Builder Magazine.

Goodwin Knight LLC, owned by partner company TCG, develops and builds apartment communities, having completed three communities and 265 apartments total so far.

Key Structures LLC will work to improve quality, shorten construction schedules and lower the cost of housing in Pueblo, said Brian Bahr, President of the Challenger Group, Inc.

The 125 full-time jobs will have an annual salary of at least $39,532 plus benefits, according to a release. Based upon approval from Pueblo City Council, the project could include $100,000 for pre-employment training at Pueblo Community college and a possible $2,100,000 from the City of Pueblo’s half cent fund for economic development.

PEDCO said it is thrilled to work with Brian Bahr and Key Structures on this project.
