COLORADO SPRINGS – The Colorado Springs Police have released very little information into what led to a fatal shooting at a home on Flintridge Circle on Saturday night.

Police say a man was shot outside of a home off of Austin Bluffs Pkwy. and Union Blvd. at about 8:25 p.m., but when they arrived, they found the victim on the back porch of the home. He was taken to an area hospital where he later died from his injuries.

Colorado Springs Police Lt. Howard Black said the shooting may have started as a burglary and police have not said whether or not this case falls into the “Make My Day Law.”

They say everyone involved is accounted for and they haven’t announced any arrests or the roles of those involved. Their names haven’t been released at this time.

The death is being investigated as a homicide.
