COLORADO SPRINGS – Police closed off Tejon St. in downtown Colorado Springs for a crash that caused the death of a pedestrian at the intersection with Las Animas St.
Spokesman Lt. Howard Black says the driver will not be charged for the incident. Drugs, alcohol and speed were not factors in the crash.
The identity of the person struck and killed is being withheld until the coroner can make a positive identification.
