PROWERS COUNTY – A 20-year-old woman from McClave, Colorado was killed when her SUV went off the road along Highway 50 in Prowers County.
Colorado State Patrol reports Lesly Chacon was headed westbound when she drifted out of her lane and hit a guardrail.
Chacon appears to have quickly steered her 2006 Chevrolet Trailblazer to get back into her lane, but overcorrected and went into a spin.
The vehicle then rolled over several times, causing Chacon to be ejected from the vehicle. She suffered serious, fatal injuries.
State Patrol concluded Chacon was not wearing a seatbelt at the time.
