COLORADO SPRINGS – The man accused of a fatal shooting outside the Pine Creek Apartments last week will be in court today for his first appearance on a murder charge.
41-year-old Jeremy Dewayne Jones is accused of killing 39-year-old Raymond Daniel McCall on September 18th. Initial reports had McCall out walking his dog aftet 10 p.m. when he was shot.
Colorado Springs Police have not commented on a possible motive in this case.
McCall’s death is the 25th homicide of the year in Colorado Springs. Police report there were 21 homicides at this same time last year.
