LAS ANIMAS – Bent County Sheriff’s deputies are investigating a shooting that happened early Monday morning in Las Animas.
Deputies said they found 40-year-old Ruthann Mondragon shot in a home in the 700 block of Poplar Street around 1:24 a.m. Monday.
Deputies said the suspect is still at large and Mondragon’s current condition is not known.
