COLORADO SPRINGS – A Colorado Springs police car is slightly damaged after an officer tried to pull a man’s car over on N. Nevada Avenue south of Austin Bluffs Pkwy. Sunday night.
The man tried to drive away, but instead, he struck a pole and then backed into the push bar on a police cruiser.
Tyler Sparks was taken into custody and when officers searched his car, they did find illegal drugs in the vehicle. No one was injured in the incident.
The damage to the cruiser was minor, leaving just a scratch on the front push bar.
