COLORADO SPRINGS – A 29-year old man is in the El Paso County Jail following a burglary and a brief standoff in the 1400 block of Michelle Court Sunday night.
Tyler Nelson was inside the home when officers arrived and then he refused to come outside. After a brief standoff, The Colorado Springs Tactical Enforcement Unit was called in and they removed Nelson from the home.
There were no injuries. Nelson is facing charges of Burglary and Possession of a Weapon by Previous Offender.
