EL PASO COUNTY – A woman is dead after being hit by a semi-truck while crossing an exit ramp along I-25.
The crash happened at 3:40 a.m. at mile marker 161 in Monument. State troopers said the unidentified 41-year-old woman died on impact.
The driver of the truck, 52-year-old Brad Wall was wearing a seat belt and was not hurt.
Troopers said they are not sure if drugs or alcohol played a role in the accident. The crash remains under investigation.
