COLORADO SPRINGS – A jury will soon hear testimony against a man arrested for the killing of the owner of the Full Throttle Auto Service in Colorado Springs back in July of 2017. Derrick Davis, 60, is charged with six felony counts including First Degree Murder, Assault with a Deadly Weapon and Aggravated Robbery.
Surveillance cameras recorded video of Davis and Eric Grant dressed as utility workers rummaging through the auto shop office during the robbery and murder. The police believe the two men repeatedly kicked shop owner George Maldonado Sr. causing his death.
