2 suspects sought in overnight robbery

COLORADO SPRINGS — Colorado Springs Police are searching for 2 suspects after a robbery at a convenience store early Monday morning. The store at 5200 Astrozon was targeted just before 1:00 a.m. Police say 2 men armed with handguns went into the store, one of the men pointed his gun at a customer while the other targeted the clerk. The clerk was ordered to empty the cash register while being held at gunpoint. The men were given an unknown amount of cash and left the area. Police say they do not yet have enough information to release a description of either suspect.
