COLORADO SPRINGS — Two people are seriously injured after a single-vehicle crash Tuesday on I-25 in Fountain, according to the Colorado State Patrol.

CSP said the two people were traveling in a 2004 Ford Taurus on northbound I-25 when the car got off on exit 123, hitting a guard rail up an embankment and eventually landing back on the ramp.

Troopers said one of both of the passengers were ejected from the vehicle, causing serious injury. CSP said they believe alcohol was a factor and are continuing to investigate the crash.

The names of the two passengers have not been released yet.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Trooper Thomas DeAntonio at (719) 544-2424.
