BACA COUNTY — Around 6:30 a.m. Wed. morning, Colorado State Patrol responded to a crash approximately eight miles west of Campo, Colorado.
Troopers determined a vehicle went off the road and rolled two and a half times. Three people were ejected.
State Patrol said. 24-year-old Ricardo Ahanel of Cactus, Texas was identified as the driver and was transported to Prowers Hospital in Lamar.
27-year-old Magdalena Zetino-Cua of Cactus, TX was transported to Prowers Hospital where she was pronounced deceased. Two other passengers were flown to Memorial Hospital in Colorado Springs with serious injuries.
State Patrol said the crash remains under investigation and alcohol is not a factor in the crash.
