EL PASO COUNTY – Ellicott High School put an interesting spin on a popular sport all to raise money for students.
It’s called Donkey Ball – basically basketball on the back of a burro!
Teachers, coaches, and students were all participating Thursday night along with airmen from Schriever Air Force Base.
The event was held to raise money for students who are planning to take a school trip to the United Kingdom. The school hopes to make this an annual fundraiser.
The donkeys came from a company called Dairyland Donkey Ball based out of Wisconsin.
