COLORADO SPRINGS – On Sunday, October 7th, you won’t be able to drive into Garden of the Gods park as the City of Colorado Springs holds another ‘Motorless Morning’ at the popular attraction.
From 5 a.m. to noon, visitors will be encouraged to park at the Visitor and Nature Center, the Garden of the Gods Trading Post, or in the temporary parking lot at Rock Ledge Ranch Historic Site before hiking in. Alternatively, you can use a free public shuttle that runs from the parking lots.
There will be designated parking available for persons with disabilities. The use of power-driven mobility device, including electric assist bicycles, will be allowed.
The first ‘Motorless Morning’ was held on Earth Day of this year to allow visitors a quieter experience in the beautiful park.
