Celebrities and fans mourn the loss of rapper Nipsey Hussle

LOS ANGELES, Calif. – Celebrities and fans are mourning the death of rapper Nipsey Hussle. The 33-year-old Grammy-nominated West Coast rapper was fatally shot Sunday afternoon outside the clothing store he owned in South Los Angeles.

Two other men were also shot and are in stable condition, one of them declined treatment. Police are still looking for the suspect.

Fans said Hussle, whose real name was Ermias Asghedom, was an inspiration and was active in his community.  He was known to give jobs to residents who were homeless or struggling to get by.

He was also scheduled to meet with the Los Angeles Police Chief on Monday to discuss ways to stop gang violence.

Hundreds of mourners came to the crime scene to pay tribute to the artist.

Hussle had previously teamed up with numerous successful artists, including Kendrick Lamar, Drake, YG, Ty Dolla $ign, Meek Mill and Young Thug.
