The park advisory board hearing suggestions from staff today, after a public comment process.
Some of the proposed changes are limiting park hours to an hour before sunrise to one hour after sunset.
Also, requiring dogs to be on a leash unless running in a designated run area.

101 supported the rule change (71%)
42 opposed the rule change (29%)

And when it came to changing the leash rule:

182 support the rule change (59%)

”Management, definitely with a change in the park hours,” said Bob Falcone, chair of the Park Advisory Board.
“Safety is a concern all the time, whether it be people in there at night, or it be dogs running loose, safety is always a concern.”

The advisory board will send their recommendations to county commissioners who will make the final decision.
