FLORIDA – Police in Florida have found the woman they say hit an 80-year-old toll booth worker.

The incident happened Sunday afternoon when 26-year-old Brittnie Kenyon was trying to get onto the Sunshine Skyway Bridge when she entered the toll plaza in her pickup truck.

Toll booth workers ordered Kenyon to stop so another worker could walk in the pedestrian crosswalk.

But Kenyon did not stop, hitting 80-year-old Elaine Wyman with her pickup truck, knocking her down to the ground.

Police say Kenyon stopped at first, then sped off continuing south on I-275.

Wyman was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.

After a brief search on Monday, police found Kenyon who was cited for driving with a suspended license and failing to provide information at the scene of an accident.

The toll booth worker was a bit banged up after the accident but she plans to return to work at the end of this week.
