And then, the temps fall again.

Summary: A couple of weak storms are plowing into the western slopes of the Rockies, bringing fresh powder…and avalanche watches to that part of the world. But just patches of clouds survive the trek over the Divide into the Plains tonight and Thursday. We keep the mild, until a California storm rolls through Friday, bring snow to the mountains, rain to snow in the Plains, and breezy/cooler conditions into Saturday. Seems short-lived, though, with a rapid rise on Sunday.

Not a lot of precip expected Friday, maybe a tenth or two.

COLORADO SPRINGS: Low – 28, High – 57.  Partly cloudy tonight. Varying Thursday skies…from mostly sunny to mostly cloudy. Still mild.

PUEBLO: Low – 26, High – 60.  Partly cloudy tonight. Varying Thursday skies…from mostly sunny to mostly cloudy. Still mild.

WOODLAND PARK: Low – 23, High – 48. Partly cloudy tonight. Varying Thursday skies…from mostly sunny to mostly cloudy. Still mild.

TRI-LAKES: Low – 24, High – 52.  Partly cloudy tonight. Varying Thursday skies…from mostly sunny to mostly cloudy. Still mild.

PLAINS: Low – 28, High – 62.  Partly cloudy tonight. Varying Thursday skies…from mostly sunny to mostly cloudy. Still mild.

WALSENBURG/TRINIDAD: Low – 30, High – 60. Partly cloudy tonight. Varying Thursday skies…from mostly sunny to mostly cloudy. Still mild.

EXTENDED OUTLOOK: Showers and cooler/breezy weather Friday, cool & dry Saturday, warmer Sunday. Next storm after that, Monday night.
