US – New rules go into effect today for people who fly with their pets considered emotional support animals.

Starting Monday, United Airlines will only allow dogs and cats to fly in the cabin.

The new rule also bans support animals form flights longer than eight hours. Service animals with specialized training can still travel on long-haul flights.

Additionally, only dogs, cats, and miniature horses will be allowed to fly as service animals.
