LOS ANGELES – Stormy Daniels is now on the hook for nearly $239,000 to cover attorney’s fees for President Trump after a judge dismissed her defamation lawsuit.
The order by Judge S. James Otero comes in short of the $390,000 requested by the president’s attorney Charles Harder.
In response, Daniels’ attorney Michael Avenatti sent out a tweet stating the ruling “will never hold up on appeal.’
The porn star sued after President Trump denied claims she was threatened to keep quiet about her alleged affair with the business mogul on 2006. Daniels maintains she was paid $130,000 as part of a non-disclosure agreement just before the 2016 election.
