Sunshine Mills, Inc. dog foods recalled due to excess vitamin D

WASHINGTON – Sunshine Mills, Inc. is voluntarily recalling several varieties of dog food because of elevated levels of vitamin D, which too much of can cause kidney failure in dogs.

Symptoms to watch out for include vomiting, loss of appetite, increased thirst and increased urination.

Consumers nationwide should stop immediately feeding dogs the following products with best buy dates of November 1, 2018 to November 8, 2019.
