COLORADO SPRINGS – Around 2 p.m. Saturday, the City of Colorado Springs announced that a tree lighting ceremony planned for Saturday night in Acacia Park has been canceled.
The lighting ceremony was scheduled for 4:30 p.m. at Acacia Park in downtown Colorado Springs.
The city said the ceremony was canceled due to current and forecasted weather conditions.
The city did not say if the ceremony would be rescheduled.
