COLORADO SPRINGS – “Skate in the Park” grand opening happens tonight in downtown Colorado Springs! The ice rink is open to the public and is located in Acacia Park.
The grand opening will include free skating and several other fun activities. The ceremony is at 4 p.m. with a free skate from 5 p.m. – 10 p.m.
Saturday at 5:30 p.m. the tree lighting takes place.
Admission, including a pair of skates, is $10 per person, but children under the age of 4 get in for free with a paid adult. A military ID will get you $1 off your admission.
Skating will continue daily through Jan. 21.
Easy parking can be located at the Bijou/Cascade parking garage.
