COLORADO SPRINGS – Two Colorado Springs Police officers were injured Monday evening while arresting a suspect on the city’s east side.
Around 6 p.m., CSPD officers responded to a court order violation by a suspect at Prospect St. and E. La Salle.
While making the arrest, the suspect became combative and began to fight with officers.
Two CSPD officers were injured in the fight. The suspect came at the officers with an “object” and one officer suffered a broken arm. There is no word on the extent of the injuries the other officer suffered.
At this time, the suspect has not been identified.
