COLORADO – Colorado Governor John Hickenlooper has ordered Colorado flags to be lowered to half-staff following Saturday morning’s horrific shooting at the Tree of Life Synagogue in Pittsburgh.

The order states all Colorado flags will remain lowered to half-staff on all public buildings until sunset on Wednesday, Oct. 31st to honor the victims.

Saturday, the Governor also shared the following message: “What happened at the Tree of Life Synagogue is purely tragic. We must be able to live in peace and to worship in total freedom, without fear of discrimination or violence. Our hearts are with the people of Pittsburgh.”
