BRECKENRIDGE – Last week, a moose got stuck and tangled in a zip line at a home in Breckenridge.

As you can see in the video above, the moose was in a pretty bad spot. Colorado Parks and Wildlife said the large cervid was stuck in the line throughout the night.

Luckily, CPW officers were able to tranquilize the moose and free him from the zip line.

According to CPW, further investigation of the incident revealed that the homeowner had placed a salt block out to attract wildlife to the home, most likely bringing the moose into the yard.

CPW said their officers cited the homeowner for violating state law and added that not only was this a legal violation, but it was also a serious lapse in ethics.
