PUEBLO – The oldest high school football rivalry west of the Mississippi adds another chapter to its story tonight.

Before the teams get after it though, cheerleaders from both Pueblo Central and Centennial were getting people fired up at a pep rally held at the Pueblo County Courthouse Friday.

Supporters of both local schools spent the week decorating the courthouse in preparation for Friday’s game.

Cheerleaders from both schools told us that this is the game they look forward to all year.

“I am feeling pretty pumped up and excited,” said Central cheerleader, Sonrisa Bustamante. “I’m really looking forward to the game tonight.”

“We don’t like Central. We have a lot of problems with them, but at the end of the day the bell rings red,” said Centennial cheerleader, Molly Mondragon.

The Bell Game is News 5’s Friday Football Fever game of the week and we will have everything you need to know about the rivalry.
