PUEBLO – The deadline has come for organizations to submit their proposals to provide animal services in the City of Pueblo and Pueblo County.
The county said the Humane Society of the Pikes Peak Region, Paws For Life, and Soldiers Security Protections have submitted paperwork to provide animal services in Pueblo.
The Human Society’s contract is set to expire in Pueblo in 2018.
The next steps for the city and county are to put together a committee to examine the applications. They hope to select an organization by the end November.
