Car crashes are the number one killer of teens in America and to combat the issue Drive Smart is kicking their Teen Traffic Safety Program into high gear with the annual Drive Smart High School Challenge.

In it’s 30th year, it’s the longest running teen traffic program in the U.S. The entire program is peer-to-peer driven. That means everything from start to finish is led by the students.

Nearly 30 schools are taking part in the challenge which includes unannounced safety and cell phone checks, driving related presentations and video contests.
