SCRANTON, PENNSYLVANIA  (WBRE) – The death of a Pennsylvania mother of five killed last week in a car crash is now being called a homicide.

State police say John Jenkins cut several brake lines on Tammy Fox’s vehicle — which resulted in her crashing her car.

Jenkins told investigators Fox was “driving him crazy” because she was looking for a pipe to smoke crack and he said he started “hacking away” underneath the vehicle to find something to use.

“Once you start seeing there’s tampering involved you know right then and there that the accident was created by the vehicle failure,” Said Trooper Bob Urban, Pennsylvania State Police.
