Two Colorado Springs officers injured

COLORADO SPRINGS – Two Colorado Springs officers are recovering from non-life threatening injuries Saturday morning after they were attacked on Friday night.

The officers were called to the 6300 block of Council Point in northeast Colorado Springs to check on a domestic violence problem. When they arrived, 19-year old Cynthia Crowley, violently attacked the officers.

Crowley was taken into custody and she faces two felony counts of Second Degree Assault on a Peace Officer and numerous other Domestic Violence charges.

Both of the officers were taken to a local hospital where they were treated for their injuries. Both of them are expected to be alright.
