The City of Colorado Springs and the nonprofit housing group Brothers Redevelopment are taking applications to help low-income residents with home repairs.

The city is providing $500,000 in federal funds to help out moderate to low income residents fix issues in their home.

Brothers Redevelopment will take applications and determine which cases receive help. The company will then open a bidding process to approve contractors to make repairs and improvements.

The group wants to complete 50 projects by next March.
