Just before 1:00 a.m. Sunday morning, Pueblo P.D. officers were dispatched to the area of Lake and Sprague on a report of a Cadillac Escalade driving around with an occupant pointing a rifle out of the window.
P.D. said the vehicle was located a short time later on Orman as four people were getting out of it.
Officers apprehended one person, but the other three were able to flee on foot before more officers could arrive.
A loaded rife and one spent shell casing were found in plain view inside the vehicle, according to Pueblo P.D. When officers searched the individual who was apprehended, they found heroin and a "substantial amount of cash."
The male suspect was booked into the Pueblo County Detention Center. No further information on the other three individuals has been released.
