The Denver Broncos have signed wide receiver Mark Chapman after Carlos Henderson failed to report to the team this week.

Chapman was the top draft pick in the Canadian Football League but he’s taking a shot at the NFL instead. Henderson’s agent said his client is dealing with a family situation.

The Denver Broncos completed a five-year, $45 million upgrade of their team facilities this summer. But the big improvement came on offense, where general manager John Elway has plugged in a new quarterback and right tackle in free agency.

Elway also drafted two wide receivers and a running back that are expected to play big roles in 2018.
