At 1:30 a.m. Sunday morning, Pueblo P.D. officers responded to a residence on Bonnymede for a possible domestic violence situation.
P.D. said a neighbor reported seeing a male damage a female’s car and then pull into the residence.
When officers arrived at the home, they could hear the female screaming inside. Officers kicked the door open and took the male into custody.
According to the department, officers recovered a knife that was used to slash a tire on the female’s car.
The male suspect was taken to the Pueblo County Detention Center on Domestic Violence charges.
