One show was the cat’s meow Wednesday at the Pueblo County Fair.
On day two of the fair, felines from around the state were scratching and clawing to be Best in Show at the fair’s annual Cat Show.
The show at the fairgrounds wasn’t only meant to be a competition to find the most purrrrfect kitty, it was also an educational experience for kids to learn how they can show off an animal and take care of them.
News 5 caught up with one of the kids at the show to see what she though about the cats. "I learned about kitties, how to hold them, and some things about them like how to show them and how to hold them,’ said Anna Prince, a show participant.
If you missed out on the festivities Wednesday, don’t worry. The fair continues through Saturday.
