A man is dead after his car hit the curb several times, struck a tree and rolled over. Police received a phone call about the accident in the southbound lanes of 8th Street, just north of Cheyenne Blvd. just after 7:00 a.m. Tuesday morning.
Police believe the man may have has some type of medical issue prior to the crash, but they won’t confirm that until after an investigation is completed.
They did say that they don’t believe alcohol or speed were factors in the accident. The victims name has not been released.
The southbound lanes of 8th street were completely closed for about 4 hours for an investigation.
