The Denver Nuggets continue to make big moves, even ones small in stature.
Point guard Isaiah Thomas has been picked up by the Nuggets in free agency to a one year deal worth a veteran minimum $2M, a move first reported by ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski.
And the moves weren’t done.

The team also traded away Kenneth Faried, Darrell Arthur and a 2019 draft pick to the Brooklyn Nets for Isaiah Whitehead.
Denver was looking to trade Faried for the past two seasons when his playing time diminished but his large salary was still hanging around.

Michael Porter, Jr., Jarred Vanderbilt and Thomas Welsh were picked up in the 2018 NBA Draft and they just spent almost $200M on new contracts for Nikola Jokic and Will Barton. Denver also traded Wilson Chandler to the Philadelphia 76ers and has moved the team under the Luxury Tax.
