After opening restaurants in the Denver area and in Castle Rock, Raising Cane’s is looking to open a location further south along the Front Range.
The city confirmed to News 5 Tuesday that the restaurant chain filed paperwork to build a location on the north side of Colorado Springs.
The restaurant, famous for its fried chicken fingers and sauce, is looking to build a location at the corner of N. Academy Boulevard and Agora Point. That is near the Whole Foods market near the Chapel Hills mall.
Raising Cane’s officials did not comment on the application, and there is no established timeframe to open a restaurant at this time.
Cane’s has opened multiple locations in Colorado, in Castle Rock, Centennial, Highlands Ranch, Parker and Fort Collins. If the Colorado Springs location is approved and built, it would be the sixth location in the Centennial state.
