The Adams County Sheriff’s Department is investigating exactly what led up to an officer involved shooting involving one of their deputies overnight.
The shooting happened sometime before 2:00 a.m. Saturday morning at 70th and Broadway on the north end of the Denver Metro area.
The sheriff’s department is asking that the public stay away from the area and find an alternate route.
No information on the shooting has been released as of yet. We’ll bring you details as we learn them.
