The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) is asking for help to find the people responsible for defacing rocks in the Dominguez-Escalante National Conservation Area south of Grand Junction.

Staff reported the vandalism on rocks in the Potholes Recreation Site on June 28. Authorities say it likely happened within a few days before it was discovered.

Anyone with information should contact the BLM Grand Junction Field Office at 970-244-3111 or Montrose Regional Crime Stoppers at 970-249-8500 if you have information about the incident.

BLM law enforcement is offering a $1,000 reward for information that leads to an arrest and conviction.
