High Chateau Fire evacuees able to get mail at Florissant Post Office

The evacuees of the High Chateau Fire in Teller County have numerous thing to deal with. People can now scratch concerns about getting their mail off of that long list of worries.

People who have been forced to leave their homes can pick up their mail at the post office in Florissant. Officials want residents to know that if they can’t get to their homes, neither can the person that delivers their mail.

A total of 580-homes are affected by the High Chateau. Many people depend on the mail for their checks, important letters and even their medications. Post office employees say all of the residents mail items can be picked at  18101 Co Rd 1, Florissant, CO 80816
