Many of the homes pounded by hurricane Harvey just ten months ago are dealing with rising flood waters again.

A slow-moving storm hit Port Aransas Wednesday, bringing heavy rain and hazardous conditions.

The National Weather Service said up to 15 inches had fallen in the area, causing water levels to rise and flood into homes.

The rising waters have also caused rough seas and dangerous rip currents on the beaches.

Conditions are expected to improve, as the storm moves away from the area Thursday.
