Multiple veteran Facebook groups are working to draw more people to a decorated veteran’s funeral, which is happening Wednesday morning in Colorado Springs.
Local Navy veteran and purple heart recipient Edgar Medd will be laid to rest Wednesday at 10 a.m. at Evergreen Cemetery in Colorado Springs.
Medd has no family left, so organizations are calling for people to attend the service to honor his memory and his service to our country.
Evergreen Cemetery is located at 1005 Hancock Expressway in Colorado Springs.
